Linda Devenow

Moving Toward the Expressive

Linda Devenow was born in Detroit, Michigan and fell in love with the look and feel of the forests and lakes of the upper part of the Lower Peninsula. She moved to Los Angeles after college graduation and started her career in the Entertainment Industry.

Her passion for photography lead to her being hired as the exclusive photographer for all Walt Disney TV Animation employee events.  From there she expanded her business to include family portraiture and professional head shots.

After a visit to Eugene, Oregon, that reminded her spiritually of the lakes and forests in Michigan, she moved there in 2002.

Her portfolio covers landscape, portraiture, and nature images. In 2018, she started experimenting with black and white infrared photography and became obsessed with capturing the scene with her infrared converted digital camera.

Last year she worked at refining technical skills, and post-processing effects.  The goal for this year is to further enhance her work by focusing on the feeling and emotion of the scene.
